ROGATION SUNDAY IS COMING!

Rogation Sunday, the sixth Sunday of Easter on the Episcopal Church Calendar, is traditionally the day when we ask God’s blessings on agriculture and industry. This year it falls on May 22, the Sunday the Churches of Our Saviour and South India will be worshiping together. As part of our special Rogation Sunday observances this year we wish to highlight the gardens that grace the grounds around the buildings we worship in, as well as the contributions of all who help to plan the gardens, provide the plants, plant the beds and care for them.

WE INVITE EVERYONE TO PARTICIPATE IN CREATING OUR GARDENS IN 2022:

• Please bring a plant(s) to church on Rogation Sunday to be blessed at the altar, to be planted later in a flower bed. If you can’t bring a plant, perhaps you’d rather contribute a few dollars for the Gardeners Guild to use for plants and mulch.
• Let us know what your favorite plants are so we can incorporate them in our present and future designs
• Give us your ideas and suggestions about what to plant this year and other ways we can beautify the church grounds.
